Packaging and manual layout with proofreadingOur pharma client based out of Irvine, CA., is looking to bring on a production artist to support multiple initiatives:
Package/Label/Carton layout using existing dielinesLayout of user manual/leaflets: Very text heavy, pages can be into 100's, multi-languageProofreading: Ensuring all changes meet requirements, standards and government regulations using TVT Proofreading tools as well as brand standards. Will generate a report and sign off on reportCreate Barcodes (previous experience a plus)
Please note, these deliverables must adhere to very specific design specs due to nature of the products. This is not a design role.
Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience with packaging layoutExperience laying out multi page docs, very text heavyStrong use of InDesign, Illustrator, and AcrobatStrong pre-flighting/file prep skillsProofreading for standard, style, and accuracy (reprints are VERY costly)Ability to proof others workUseful if you have used barcode software in the pastMust be detail oriented with strong attention to detail
