If you love coffee, people and getting things done, this just might be the place for you.OverviewThe Marketing Coordinator supports our marketing team and cross-channel partners in the creation and execution of our annual strategic marketing plans. The role works closely with our creative, eCommerce, retail cafes, and wholesale teams to bring our Stumptown marketing plans to life. The ideal candidate is passionate about brands, delighting consumers and all things marketing.Essential FunctionsManage all marketing projects to support the Stumptown brand, cafes, wholesale, and our eCommerce DTC business. Clearly communicate objectives, timelines, and deliverables to internal and external partners.Direct the team in prioritizing projects, ensuring timelines are met.Write project briefs, clearly defining campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables.Lead and execute the email newsletter calendar. Work with cross-functional and external copywriting partners to ensure alignment on brand and marketing objectives. Write and edit consumer facing brand copy. Track newsletter analytics and make recommendations to improve email performance metrics.Together with the marketing team, play an active role in annual marketing planning and execution.Ongoing monitoring and regular reporting of competitors and key category trends.Manage and keep current a database of Stumptown partners and collaborators.Manage and maintain an inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.Track key initiatives and recap learnings. Share insights with channel leads.Manage external print vendors, ensuring quality and on time delivery.Set up new marketing vendors and submit POs and invoices as needed.Manage and coordinate any comp product requests for giveaways, partnerships etc.Coordinate ad hoc projects and requests.Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including project management suite, digital asset management etc. Look for opportunities to improve on existing tools and processes.Perform other duties as specified to ensure the success of the team and the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.2-3 years' experience as a project manager or marketing coordinator.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience writing brand copy.Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing timelines.Must be proactive and detail-oriented.Have a positive, can-do-attitude and enjoy bringing teams together to deliver amazing work.A collaborator who thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.A passion for specialty coffee and what we do every day here at Stumptown!Experience in MS Windows/Office and project management systems (e.g., Monday, Asana), content management systems (CMS), and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Physical Demands

Ability to sit continuously at a computer.Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment

Work takes place in office settings; this position is based at our HQ in Portland, Oregon and will spend, on average, half of their time working in the office and half of their time working from home.May occasionally require travel via car and/or airline (5-10%), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, and occasional overnight hotel stays.Ability to occasionally work outside of standard business hours on an ad-hoc basis to address urgent business needs and support retail and marketing activities on weekends and evenings.
