Marketing Coordinator

who shares our passion for and has a deep understanding of digital media. The Content Marketing Coordinator is skilled in digital marketing with proven success in ideating and executing content marketing to drive engagement and excitement surrounding IAB thought leadership outputs, email communications, social media, public relations, and more.

You understand how effective digital marketing facilitates an emotional connection between the consumer and the brand. You are an excellent writer and are passionate about creative development and design.

You enjoy working across many different parts of a company and are an excellent communicator that can manage your time and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm for the advertising, marketing, and media industries, coupled with your creative problem-solving skills, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

What You Will Do:

You’ll coordinate the day-to-day marketing and execution needs for a range of marketing and design activities across email, social media, PR, website, webinars, and more. This is a “generalist role” that will be integral to the Marketing team, working with and learning from a team of functional experts and marketing strategists.

Job Responsibilities include (but

are not limited to):

Contribute to the project management of marketing activities and creation of collateral/assets for: social, website (including interactive web pages), email, press releases, videos, scripts, creative, and PowerPoint presentations.

Assist in writing and proofreading marketing copy.

Manage the Marketing Calendar and Campaign Tracker keeping track of deadlines and ensuring smooth team communication.

Work with external vendors (e.g., printers, swag/premium companies) and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.

Organize meetings, schedules, and take notes for marketing team discussions.

Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and content creators.

Participate in brainstorming and critical thinking around IAB priorities such as digital video, audio, data & measurement, retail media, privacy, and more.

Assist in managing CRM database for email marketing by facilitating list uploads, segment building, list verification, and performance reporting.

Create, monitor and manage webinar attendance reports, export lists, and webinar information across multiple channels.

Contribute to social media and website logistics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts

2-3+ years professional experience

Excellent creative/business writer and proofreader with a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free work

Self-directed, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent project management skills

Digitally connected and savvy. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, as well as video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom)

Experience in building engaging PowerPoint presentations

Ability to write message-driven content

Experience with media management and design of digital assets

Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and advertising technology

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Bonus Points:

Web design experience

Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, HubSpot, Salesforce, social media platforms (such as Oktopost, Sprout Social, etc.) and HTML/CSS, Google Ads
