The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:The Program Manager and Instructional Systems Designer Lead will play a crucial role in managing and executing the full life cycle of the instructional systems design process, directly supporting our government client.Responsibilities include:Oversee standardization and quality assurance of training product/program coordination and completion.Provide technical guidance to subordinate designers and developers, ensuring productivity and effectiveness.Set deadlines and assign responsibilities for all contracted personnel.Establish project timelines, advise on technical formats, and recommend effective media.Ensure compliance with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE model, Knowles Principles of Adult Learning Theory).Review and create storyboards, conduct gate reviews, and support annual training program evaluations.Maintain close communication with customers, team members, SMEs, and stakeholders.Ensure 508 compliance on courseware and training materials.Provide input on training curricula and assist with developing materials, activities, and assessments.Communicate effectively with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Government leads.Qualifications:Ability to work onsite, in Falls Church, VA, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm ESTBachelor’s degree in education, instructional technology, or a similar field.Minimum 6 years of experience in executing the full life cycle of the instructional systems design process (or 10 years of experience in lieu of the degree).Exceptional communication skills.Experience leading teams.Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.Preferred:Experience leading a team to provide direct support to a government clientExperience developing health education training, especially with the Defense Health AgencyWe Offer:Our benefits typically meet or exceed our competitors’ packages.
