You will lead a high-performing engineering team of 7-10 people, focused on developing sophisticated user interfaces and experiences.Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Ensure high standards of UI quality and adherence to industry standards, security processes, and privacy requirements.Collaboration:

Build strong partnerships with UX designers, product managers, and engineering teams. Work together to align engineering efforts with business objectives and product requirements.Strategic Vision:

Define and execute a strategic roadmap for engineering activities, balancing technical vision with business goals. Provide thought leadership on evolving digital procurement tools and support design evolution.Communication:

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, particularly senior leadership, to keep them informed about project status, risks, and opportunities. Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.Quality and Standards:

Ensure exceptional UI quality, utilizing in-house component libraries. Oversee UI development and testing strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.Team Building:

Recruit, hire, and develop a diverse, high-performing engineering team. Champion an inclusive and innovative team culture.What Sets You Apart:

Experience:

Over 12 years in software engineering with substantial experience in front-end and full-stack development. At least 3 years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams in consumer-facing applications.Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of UI development and testing strategies, UX and UI design principles. Proven ability to act as a credible technical advisor and make informed decisions in ambiguous situations.Communication Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving:

Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of effective decision-making and team guidance in challenging scenarios.Diversity and Inclusion:

This position is open for multiple locations including: Plano TX, Lisle IL, Durham NC, Irvine CA.Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $127,000- $203,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
