7 Oct 2024ROLE SUMMARYThe incumbent, within the US Market Access Marketing (USMA-M) team, will lead the development and execution of the US access marketing strategy for XELJANZ and VELSIPITY with a focus achieving profitable access in alignment with Brand goals. This is a unique opportunity to lead Access Marketing for two Priority Brands simultaneously. They will be responsible for the development, creation, approval and launch of key strategies and tactics designed to educate formulary and access decision makers and ensure optimal access for VELSIPITY as well as LOE planning for Xeljanz including portfolio access implications. The Access Marketer will advocate for access, reimbursement and policy approaches that support Brand uptake and performance.The US Market Access Marketer will be part of the USMA Marketing team and will liaise with the Brand team for I&I Rheumatology/GI franchise and work across the USMA organization as appropriate including, Payer Account management, Market Access Strategy Pricing and Analytics, Market Access Operations, Channel Management. This role is an opportunity for a talented, high-energy colleague to join the US Market Access Marketing team for two Priority Brands with extensive and frequent exposure to senior levels of management.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe USMA Access Marketer will:Ensure successful access for VELSIPITY including national PBM adoption and rapid custom client pull-through in order for the brand to meet revenue goals and to develop annual Access Plans.Ensure successful access and revenue maximization for XELJANZ as the brand approaches LOE including brand continuity planning and portfolio access implications post LOE.Collaborate with key stakeholders to set and monitor access goals and plan strategies accordingly to maximize revenue and GTN.Update VELSIPITY and XELJANZ Value proposition and value narrative to engage payer customers in their decision making based on clinical and economic value.Develop and implement quarterly POA priorities with the Account Management team.Proactively identify and address key barriers to access and performance by applying advanced understanding of and experience with contracting and pricing strategies, analytics, and market trends across brand lifecycle, and market channels.Through the value proposition narrative, ensure payer and access decision makers assess the potential cost savings and evaluate the economic impact of incorporating, or maintaining, XELJANZ and VELSIPITY on their formularies.Drive and inform key decisions regarding XELJANZ and VELSIPITY access assessments for and negotiations in a complex and continuously evolving market.Assess sustainable pricing through selective contracting that is informed by advanced competitive intelligence and analytics.Manage USMA Brand budget and secure appropriate funding for Brand specific strategies and tactics from commercial partners per SOP.Lead and manage Brand Access Matrix Team and associated deliverables.Lead customer value partnership opportunities for XELJANZ and VELSIPITY in collaboration with Customer facing teams and in partnership with USMA Customer Marketing.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSCandidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.Bachelor's degree minimum required; MBA, PharmD, PhD or relevant graduate degree preferred.Required: 10+ years of combined experience within the U.S. pharmaceutical/healthcare market with a primary focus on strategy for Marketing and/or US Market Access, Customer/Account Management, Payer Brand/Customer Marketing, and/or Healthcare consulting.Demonstrated ability to quickly identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights.Strong business acumen and analytical skills to help set priorities & strategies, and track record in leveraging insights to help guide the decision-making process.Ability and desire to work effectively & collaboratively in a team-based environment with many internal stakeholders.Proven record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.Desire to work in an ambiguous environment, set priorities, and define workstreams as needed.SELECTED SKILLS GAINED

Understanding of US market access marketing specific to XELJANZ and VELSIPITY initiatives focused on access customers, for both medical and pharmacy benefit products.Knowledge of key marketplace dynamics and healthcare trends (Inflation Reduction Act's impact on Medicare, 340B dynamics, channel management considerations, pharmacy benefit therapies etc.) for biosimilars.Significant visibility within the global and US Value and Access teams and with USMA partners: Brand marketing, Contracting, US Market Access leadership team, RC, Global Access teams etc.Deep insights into the access brand marketing launch process through collaboration with stakeholders with expertise gained into pre-launch planning, training account teams, and launch strategy.Other Job Details:

In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
