We are charter-accredited through the AMC Institute and maintain offices in Brussels, Chicago, and Washington, DC.General Purpose of the PositionThe Associate Account Executive, Marketing plays a critical role within Kellen’s Marketing, Membership & Strategic Partnerships (MMS) department. Reporting to the Senior Account Executive of Marketing, this role is designed to support client communications and marketing initiatives, with a focus on engaging digital and print content creation. You will work on various projects, including e-newsletters, event & membership marketing campaigns, website updates, and social media messaging. This role demands an individual with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, content marketing, and digital advertising initiatives.Manage projects and campaigns that support client goals such as acquisition, retention, and engagement through both virtual and in-person courses and credentialing programs.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, track competitors, and gather insights to inform marketing strategies.Collaborate with other internal departments to develop impactful content for various communication channels.Format and produce e-newsletters, email communications, and other marketing materials according to established branding guidelines.Manage and monitor social media channels, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize engagement.Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and communications.Write, proofread, and edit marketing copy for both print and digital media.Assist in the preparation of reports that summarize campaign performance, website analytics, and other key marketing metrics.Understand and work within allocated marketing budgets.Perform other related tasks as assigned.SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and social media management tools (Sprout Social).Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Informz.Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing best practices.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.QualificationsUndergraduate degree and/or graduate degree in marketing or communications is preferred with a minimum of two years of work and/or internship experience in the fields of journalism, communications, marketing, and/or association management.The ideal candidate will fundamentally understand that exceptional output and flawless content are their number one responsibility.Previous Association or Association Management Company (AMC) experience is preferred but not required.Supervision ExercisedNonePhysical DemandsThis job operates in a hybrid office environment with one day weekly in-office requirement.
