Come join a passionate and skilled group of developers, designers, and product folks that care deeply about our users and the work they doDescriptionYou should have a passion for product design, UI, and UX; have a knack for digging deep into user problems to understand and empathize with an active and opinionated user base; and drive a team to simple and elegant solutions to hard, complex design problems.In this role you will:- Conceive, design, and deliver user experiences and user flows, taking complex user actions and distilling them into usable interfaces- Collaborate with product managers to balance prioritization and break down features into iterative user stories- Collaborate with software developers to understand technical limitations and constraints and be able to iterate on solutions and craft viable and usable MVP-style features- Present and communicate lo-fi mockups, interaction design, hi-fi user flows, prototypes, and other design docs to the product team, stakeholder groups, and organizational leadership- Be able to clearly articulate design rationale and prioritize feedback to iterate rapidly as we learn more through the design exploration process- Be able to influence and gain alignment from others while being accountable for bringing critical thinking and product design strategy into all product design work- Ship experiences that are delightful to our users- Deeply understand and empathize with our users’ needs and painpointsMinimum Qualifications10+ years UI/UX experience in a software product team: prototyping, designing, and shipping full-stack software productsExpertise designing across a diversity of platforms - web, mobile, responsive, AR/VRExpertise creating, owning, and evolving the information architecture (IA) of large complex applicationsExpertise in UI/UX wireframing and design tools, such as Sketch and FigmaPreferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability of taking a user-centric approach in everything you do to define, test, and iterate on UI/UX (e.g. user research, usability studies, A/B testing)Demonstrated ability to build and maintain design systems and frontend component systems at scaleExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent collaborative skills, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionality with developers and other designersExperience with manufacturing processes, consumer product design, and mechanical engineering is not required - but you must have an interest in learning about these areas and becoming deeply familiar with this domainAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
