What You’ll Do

Authentic is seeking an experienced Manager, Store Design to join our dynamic team at our New York City office. As a Manager, Store Design, you will play a vital role in designing and executing exceptional retail spaces that align with the unique brand experiences of our various properties. We are looking for a talented and innovative individual with a passion for creating immersive retail environments that captivate and engage customers. This position requires a seasoned professional with demonstrated expertise in store design and brand experience.

What You’ll Be Working On

Store Design Conceptualization: Partner with the Manager, Director of Store Design and Creative Services to develop innovative and on-brand retail store concepts and standards that align with each brand's identity and valuesRetail Space Planning: Design, produce and review comprehensive store layouts for our extensive brand portfolio and global partners. Design, evolve and maintain global design guidelines for varied channels and market distributionInterior Design: Select and source appropriate materials, fixtures, furnishings, and decor elements that enhance the overall aesthetics and ambiance of each retail location and officesVisualizations: Develop detailed 3D renderings and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring a unified vision for each projectProject Management: Oversee the end-to-end store design process, from concept to completion, while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsCollaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, brand management, marketing, and operations, to ensure that the store design aligns with broader business objectives and enhances the overall customer experienceMarket Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in store design and customer experience to continually innovate and elevate our retail spacesVendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of store projectsCompliance and Regulations: Ensure all store designs comply with local building codes, accessibility requirements, and safety standards

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in ArchitectureMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in store design, retail space planning, and brand experienceStrong proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray and Adobe Creative SuiteDemonstrated portfolio of successful retail store design projects with an emphasis on creating immersive and compelling customer experiencesAbility to think creatively and strategically while maintaining a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and team membersProven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of construction processes and industry standards for retail store buildsFamiliarity with sustainable design practices and materials is a plus A passion for consumer brands, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment is highly desirable

Primary Location Salary Range:

$90,000 - $100,000
