Senior Security Communication Associate:

Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.The Senior Security Communication Associate will reside in the US as a part of the ZS Information Security team. The candidate will play a crucial role in engaging with Information Security leaders to share the Information Security story.The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and can adapt communication approaches to speak to a technical or nontechnical audience. The candidate should understand security practices and be able to distill complex security concepts into clear and concise messages. The role will be responsible for managing content for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) meetings, communications for senior leaders with external clients, communications for subject matter experts in the organization, introduction of Information Security projects as well as collaboration with internal teams to support client initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging, and brand identity.Responsibilities:Assist with development of a IS communications program that promotes security topics in our organization and drives for uniformity and awareness internally and externally.Enhance maturity of the organization through creation of an annual communication plan based on risks, projects and upcoming events.Coordination with ZS communication team to drive for alignment and continuous improvement.Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts in the organization to create compelling content for presentations, communications, and external discussions.Drive for internal and external visibility of CISO and the leadership team and assist with external training and publications of materials if necessary.Manage various communication channels, and creation of new internal sites as required, including websites, social media platforms, newsletters, posts, social media (engage), etc.Creation of an organized library of readily available templates, continuously maintain organized and updated material, newsletters, surveys, etc.Monitor and analyze internal communications to ensure effectiveness and make recommendations to teams on channels and timing based on communication plan.Manage metrics of viewership and interactions with content.Selection of appropriate channels for content working in collaboration with global communications.Engage in discussions on emerging trends in security, industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into communication strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or content development.Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies in a corporate setting.Exceptional attention to detail and possesses organizational skills.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to translate complex security concepts into clear and concise messages.Proficiency in managing website content development and communication channels.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Desire to be flexible and learn in a fast-paced environment.Dedicated team player, and proactive in managing program.Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.Showcases strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.Ability to clearly present technical approaches or findings in oral and written format.Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Highly self-motivated and directed.
