You will collaborate with a team of media experts in order to secure optimal partner requirements for Verizon across Verizon Consumer Group. With your expert knowledge of the digital media landscape and the evolution of programmatic and self-serve buying, you will keep internal leadership, media and ad teams educated on emerging technologies. You will engage and influence stakeholders across the organization with respect to programmatic, paid social, and paid search offerings, while managing and developing the in-house approach.Responsibilities include:Developing and executing bold, innovative partnership strategies for Verizon's approach to programmatic and paid social buying.

Stay on top of the latest developments in the programmatic landscape and online advertising in general, paying close attention to trends, technologies, and pricing models.

Firmly negotiating rates and pushing partners to provide innovative solutions and technologies best suited to Verizon.

Maintaining relationships with key partners and leading joint business proposals.

Collaborating across the Digital Media team on brand safety, verification and supply.

Leading the sourcing process, ensuring agreements (e.g. NDA, MSA) are executed appropriately.

Tracking and QA'ing execution of partnership agreements, ensuring Verizon and partner requirements are met.

What we're looking for...You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Marketer/agency/consultative services experience in programmatic media strategy and investment.

Experience with analysis and reporting.

Fluency in data-driven targeting and reach strategy.

Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:Ten or more years of relevant work experience.

Ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display (desktop, mobile), Digital Video, Social Media, and various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA), etc.

Ability to manage all self-serve programmatic and social channels (display, video, social, dOOH, audio, native) and launch new channels.

Experience with primary buying platforms & formats (Google, Amazon AAP, Yahoo, The Trade Desk, Meta, Snap, TikTok, Pinterest).

Experience with leading data-driven media technology (Liveramp, Adobe AAM, Epsilon, Acxiom).

Knowledge of ad verification and brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat).

Ability to analyze data, optimize and ensure campaign goals are being fully met.

Programmatic leadership experience within Agency Trade Desks, Management Consultancies or brands with in-house programmatic capabilities.

Knowledge of the evolution of programmatic media; how video, social, display, native, branded content became purchasable programmatically.

Experience making recommendations regarding tech adoption, based on thorough awareness of the current and emerging programmatic tech landscape.

Experience building and executing programmatic buying strategy.

Experience with management of agency relationships and resources, and ability to influence across divisions, departments and teams.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $115,000.00 and $213,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
