Vision for the Role:This position uses graphic design to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the impact God makes through Hume Christian Camps. The Lead Graphic Designer provides leadership for the Hume brand, creating designs to consistently articulate the ministry, mission, and values of Hume Christian Camps. The graphics produced will be used for all external and internal marketing and communication, both digital and print.Why Join Us?Be part of a mission-driven faith-based organization that is dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and families.With 3 beautiful camp locations, we offer a unique opportunity for year-round camping ministries dedicated to the glory of God.Be a part of something meaningful where your work directly contributes to making memorable experiences and fostering spiritual growth.Every day is an opportunity to inspire, lead, and make a difference in the lives of others.Work in a supportive Christian community in a beautiful environment that values faith, growth, and relationship.The Role:Collaborate with ministry leaders to support design projects from concept to final delivery.Lead the visual representation of the Hume brand to communicate its mission and impact.Coordinate and execute design projects, working closely with the Marketing and Communications team.Manage external partnerships with agencies, art services, and printers for project completion.Stay current on design trends to deliver effective content.Our Ideal Candidate:Evidence of strong Christian faith with a passion for sharing the gospel and meeting spiritual needs.Must be able to agree with our statement of belief and abide by our code of conduct.Strong knowledge of graphic design, print, and marketing communications.Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including copywriting and grammar proficiency.Skilled in organizing and managing projects, delegating tasks, and meeting deadlines.Familiar with advertising and marketing strategies for youth and adults.Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.Willing to live on-site during camp sessions and work in various weather conditions.Benefits & Perks of Community Living:Be a part of a tight-knit community of believers serving the mission of the camp.Incredibly beautiful views and environment, access to lake, camping, and walking/running trails.Owning a home provides additional benefits to living on-site.
