Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Communications Manager to lead our marketing communications team. This role drives the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies. The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for managing a team of desktop publishers, graphic designers, and videographers. This person must have people management skills where having different personalities, ideas, cultures, and backgrounds is valued, while maintaining a positive working environment. In addition, leadership experience with direct reports is required. This role will work closely with the Marketing Technology Manager, Product Group Manager, Vice President of Marketing, and Designer Consultant Manager to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing communications that support our brand and business objectives. Skills that are also desired are strategy expertise, and ability to create, manage and understand campaign analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor a team of desktop publishers, graphic designers, videographers, and digital marketing specialists.

- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.

2. Integrated Communications Strategy:

- Develop and implement localized integrated marketing communications strategies aligned with global corporate marketing communications strategies, and the local business goals and brand positioning.

- Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all communication channels.

3. Content Development and Production:

- Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, including print materials, digital assets, videos, and multimedia content.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop compelling content that resonates with target audiences.

4. Digital Marketing:

- Work closely with digital marketing specialists to develop digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising.

- Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on analytics and insights.

5. Creative Direction:

- Provide creative direction and feedback to graphic designers, videographers, and other creative team members to ensure alignment with strategy, brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

- Encourage innovation and creativity in all marketing communications efforts.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the Marketing Technology team to leverage marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to enhance communications effectiveness.

- Partner with the Product Management team to develop product-specific marketing campaigns and materials that drive product awareness and sales.

7. Channel Marketing Support:

- Work closely with the Channel Marketing Manager to support channel partner marketing activities, including co-branded collateral, joint marketing events, and promotional campaigns.

- Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all channel marketing initiatives.

8. Budget Management:

- Manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

- Track expenses, analyze ROI, and report on key performance metrics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.

- 10 years of management experience in marketing communications, with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns and managing teams.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans.

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, email marketing software, social media management tools, and web analytics.

- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

- Experience in B2B marketing and working with channel partners is an asset.
