The Social Marketing team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising apps to grow Amazon businesses. The team is looking for a top-notch marketer who can create a set of successful channel strategies, execute well-structured tests, roll out successful campaigns, and optimize performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.

The Sr. Marketing Manager in this role will be responsible for building social marketing strategy on growth social media apps like YouTube, Snapchat, and Reddit. The primary objectives are to generate revenue and create a marketing strategy to scale these channels.

The person in this role would be working directly with external social media app stakeholders to build new advertising products to scale Amazon's presence. They will launch experiments and manage performance using systems like Tableau. They would also craft a go-to-market plan for these channels and gain alignment from senior leadership. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in digital marketing, A/B testing, and excel in looking at data and making recommendations. Furthermore, you will be highly innovative and comfortable driving new programs from conception through execution in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities- Create the go-to-market strategy for emerging social media apps (like Reddit, YouTube, or Snap)- Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end- Define experiment learning agendas and optimize campaign setups to drive meaningful insights- Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns- Work directly with social networks to launch new product betas and explore marketing potential- Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting)- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)- Bachelor's degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis- Excellent awareness of emerging Social Media Platforms including attribution, execution, and analysis.
