Insomniac Clubs includes venues suchas Exchange, Academy LA, Avalon, Time Nightclub, Nova SD and Bloom.THE ROLEInsomniac Clubs is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Junior Graphic Designer with an impeccable attention to detail and strong design sense to join the design team. They will assist the developing designs, resizing created material, and solving problems inherent in designing for multiple formats. The designer must present an enthusiastic view at growing and developing their craft. This position reports to the Graphic Design Manager and Art Director.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport internal and external digital and print media design for all Insomniac projects and brandsAbility to create materials based on existing style guides to fit brand imageMaintain quality, organization and proper optimization for all digital platformsExperienced in photo retouching, photo-manipulation and compositingRetouch artwork according to the creative recommendations and production specifications and expectationsResponsible of upholding design/brand standards and file naming conventionsBrainstorm with marketing team and ability to collaborate with various teams to conceptualize creative graphic communications fulfilling project objectivesStay up-to-date on latest industry standards and trends for programs, hardware and design to better develop creative and innovative ways to make graphic assets visually engagingFoundational understanding of different art conceptsFlexibility and willingness to learnEmbrace constructive feedback and comfortable with hands on teachingOther design requirements as necessaryAdditional projects assigned as neededQUALIFICATIONS2+ years experience in the Graphic Design fieldBachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar fieldBasic knowledge of animation, particularly in After Effects, is desiredIntermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.Intermediate hierarchy, layout and typography skill setKnowledge of color theory and balance is a mustExcellent attention to detail; possesses organizational skillsExperience in reformatting and resizing digital and print files to multiple dimensions and file formatSketching and illustration ability, along with growing skills in photo retouching, photo-manipulation and compositing is a plusKnowledge of EDM and Insomniac artists/ brands is preferredWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environmentsWilling to work on the weekends if requiredApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.BENEFITSMedical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffGuest List AllotmentsMerch DiscountsEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
