Our office is located in Mountain View, within walking distance to the Caltrain station.

Currently, we work a hybrid schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday in-office and remote work the rest of the week.We are looking for an extraordinary designer to own execution of print collateral needs to support a cohesive product experience. The role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment on tight deadlines and interact with multiple departments including Editorial, Photo/Video, Sourcing, and Product Design. It is the designer’s responsibility to uphold the visual integrity of the brand and execute all aspects of visual design – from content ideation to final deliverables.As a company celebrating creativity and development, we believe and encourage the same in our team. Maintain visual integrity and consistency for all assigned KiwiCo linesConceptualize and execute creative assets to better the product experienceCreate beautiful visual solutions that advance the KiwiCo brand via typography, photography, color, illustration, and other visual mediumsEstablish and coordinate art direction for our illustration and photography teamsPartner with product design and editorial teams to create clear, concise assembly instructions that ensure an optimal product experienceManage time wisely to ensure all projects are completed by deadline with ample time for revisionsAccept constructive feedback openly with a positive attitudeAssist with organizing and archiving all visual and graphic assetsPerform simple illustration editing and photo retouching tasks

Required Qualifications:

1-2+ years experience as a Graphic Designer or similar roleStellar portfolio demonstrating a refined aesthetic sense, a strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theoryHigh-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and IllustratorExperience designing for print collateralAbility to adapt to a brand’s existing visual stylePhoto editing and some retouching experienceBroad operating range – you think strategically and have an impeccable eye for detail with a strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, layoutSelf-starter who is resourceful and flexible – has the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines on multiple simultaneous projectsObsessively detail-oriented – able to manage all the details and meet a high bar for accuracy and qualityCollaborative – able to contribute to a cross-functional team while maintaining open communication and feedbackExperience working in a startup environment and designing for children is a plus
