The Contracting and Distribution Strategies (C&DS) Team develops distribution and contracting strategies along with a dedicated focus on evolving customer experience through the vaccine contracting and ordering process. The C&DS team works collaboratively across the US Vaccine BU (marketing and sales teams), Integrated Account Management, and the many Operational Headquarters extended teams to ensure contractual access to our vaccines for our customers, including Wholesalers/Distributers, Physician Organization, Buying Groups, Health Systems, Public Health Entities, Medical Groups, Individual Health Care Provider Offices, etc.This is an exciting opportunity to join the C&DS Team in a newly created position as the Product Contracting & Marketing Owner (PCMO). In this role, you will be a strategic partner to the C&DS Leadership Team, responsible for prioritizing projects to drive the success of current and future opportunities across our commercial offers, distribution channels, and customer experience throughout the contracting and ordering process. Additionally, the PCMO will lead an Agile Team, which is a cross-functional team made up of subject matter experts in commercial offers, vaccine distribution, and customer experience/engagement focused on contracting and ordering of vaccines. Using agile principles, your leadership will translate commercial focused objectives into actionable plans that support the strategic priorities of the C&DS Team along with broadening communication and transparency of work.The position is based out of Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report directly to the Director, US Vaccines Contracting and Customer Experience within the C&DS organization.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with the C&DS Leadership team, Customer Managers, Field Execution Leader, and broader C&DS team to develop and evolve the organizational approach to operational strategy development, stakeholder support, communication channel access and identify future opportunities.Drive forward data analytics, customer, and market insights to define the strategic choices as lead for OKR (Objectives & Key Results) development for the Trimester Business Review (TBR).Utilize a test and learn approach, leveraging data results to optimize strategy and execution.Build, lead, and mentor a unique and newly formed Agile Team, comprised of experts in private and public sector contracting, customer experience, and distribution logistics.Take full responsibility for leading the Agile Team in setting and meeting strategic priorities and trimester objectives while collaborating with C&DS promotion team and vendors for asset development.Lead agile trimester planning stages and prioritization to enable teams to respond quickly and effectively to changing business needs while maintaining disciplined focus on high value opportunities.Lead Agile Team to meet trimester milestones, including strategy evolution, operational projects, and field resources/tactics.Provide guidance to the Agile Team through a strong understanding of the market and customer insights.Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise including U.S. Vaccines Marketing & Sales Teams, Data & Analytics, Finance, IT/CCE, Operations, and Legal/Compliance.Oversee the promotional resource development and deployment processes, including utilization/engagement metrics and VaccineIQ development lead.Partner with other Product Marketing Owners to drive transparency, coordination, and prioritization across the BU.Manage budget and profit plan point decisions.Education:Required: BA/BSPreferred: MBARequired Experience and Skills:Minimum of (5) years combined experience in sales, marketing, commercial operations, and/or market access.Adaptability to change, and ability to work in an emerging and evolving environment with demonstrated examples of working in new ways.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various teams including marketing, sales, legal, and other cross-functional headquarters partners to achieve business results.Experience leading cross-functional teams with and/or without authority to achieve business results and advocate for agile ways of working.Demonstrated use of data to make strategic choices and solve problems.Experience working with and managing external agencies.Strong communications skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate a plan or strategy effectively.Proven problem solving and exceptional project management skills.Proficiency in fiscal management, including budgeting and profit planning.Preferred Experience and Skills:Prior experience in the U.S. vaccines marketplace or other buy-and-bill biologics.Understanding of US commercial requirements.Experience in promotional development and review processes.Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and Mural.
