The position of Creative Director of the Young Adult Initiative develops the Young Adults Initiative’s vision, strategy, and content. This position works closely with the Administrative Directors to execute the Lilly grant-funded project and accomplish the grant’s objectives. The purpose of this project is to help equip and support congregations and address the needs of young adults as identified in the second phase of the initiative and contribute to helping congregations in their efforts to attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adults to become vital participants in and contributors to the life and outreach of their congregations. Key objectives will include executing phase two of the grant.

Fulfill the obligations of the phase two of the Young Adult Initiative.Supervise the staff supporting the Young Adult Initiative.Design and conduct sound research.Design and produce educational content with the YAI staff. This may include, but is not limited to, a podcast, blog posts, social media presence, and webinars.Create and execute an annual YAI conference.Based on the research findings, produce a playbook that congregations can use to better attract, disciple, retain, and mobilize young adults and young adult ministers.Education/Experience

REQUIREDAbility to communicate well in writing and speech.Ability to design and execute sound research.Experience managing a budget.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent time and project management skills.STRONGLY PREFERREDExperience with digital marketing.Experience in video production.Experience working with various types of ministries: congregations, parachurch, and Christian Academia.Qualifications

Normal office working conditions including computer usage may require occasional standing, walking, long periods of sitting, climbing stairs, balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
