We are seeking a Sr PCB Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Sr Designer, you'll be responsible for all phases of creation and management of the printed circuit design front-to-back process, including leading or assisting on projects containing multiple PC Boards.

Key Responsibilities:

Use the latest Cadence software suite of tools, and MCAD models and transfersCommunicate and cooperate with multiple engineering groups (Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing)Work as part of a team of PC board designers in the Production Engineering Division, serving all business unitsCollaborate with both internal and external engineering teams

Required Skills:

Cadence Allegro PCB Editor V17.4 or newerCadence Concept and HDL Schematic CaptureExperience with Cadence Constraint ManagerAllegro System Capture V17.4 or newerPDM tools for release of designsAbility to work well with a diverse group of dedicated professionals

Preferred Skills (not required):

Experience with Cadence SigXP, Power Integrity or 3D modelingSiemens Nx V11 or newer MCADProgramming experience in scripting, Allegro Skill, AWK, Perl or other programming languagesUnderstanding of industry and IPC standards for PCB Design & Library structureEDA/EDM – Allegro PCB Librarian & Manager V17.4 or newerUnderstanding of Cadence and EDA License serversAltium Designer System EngineeringPTC WindchillKnowledge of PCB documentation standards (e.g. IPC-D-325A)Experience in medical device development

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology OR5 to 10 Years Industry Experience as a PC Board Designer using Cadence Allegro or comparable software
