What You Will Do:
Our
Senior Graphic Designer
will be skilled and experienced in developing infographics, designing proposal page layout in accordance with business standards, developing creative presentations in collaboration with technical staff, and coordinating work from multiple internal clients while effectively prioritizing deadlines. Requires demonstrated past performance in working independently with limited oversight while achieving quality objectives on multiple, concurrent assignments.The position can be based in one of the following offices -
Camp Hill, Valley Forge, or Owings MillsThis position supports the Gannett Fleming brand identity and helps promote the company and its services through business development support.This position requires limited oversight and QA from the Graphics Design Manager or other Manager throughout the Design process.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop complex, original graphics to support sales proposals and presentationsUse available graphics and design knowledge to create in-brand illustrations and supporting graphicsDesign, set up, and lay out medium- and large-sales proposalsServe as primary point of contact for assigned projectsAssist and advises internal clients with planning graphics for sales and/or technical proposals, presentations, and other multi-media needsCan review technical content and recommend graphic ideas to replace technical and general written content for multiple technical and sales needsFollow established procedures and use established compliance, communication, filing, and coordination toolsProof assigned projects for errorsCollaboratively share knowledge with peers and internal customersActively participate in company practice initiatives to further the development of graphics across the organizationResearches and implements current design trends and technologiesOther duties as assignedEducation | Experience:
EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field or Associate Degree plus 5 additional years of professional, relevant experienceTRAINING, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCEMinimum of 8 years of professional graphic design and page layout experienceUnderstanding of and a minimum 5 years working with Gannett Fleming's core businessesDemonstrated high proficiency in Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPointProficiency with MS WordStrong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently and as part of a larger teamExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time management skillsExcellent leadership and clear communication skillsAbility to facilitate and coordinate multiple deliverables under a deadline-driven environment.Must be a team player with a positive attitude and flexibilityCompany Overview:
