OTR Global (OTR®), founded in 1995, is part of the BWG+OTR investment research firm with presence in North America, Europe and Asia.

OTR was a leader in pioneering interview-based channel research methodology; its research method is utilized by more than 120 research personnel located in more than 15 countries. The unique approach unites quantitative measures and qualitative responses to uncover inflection points and produce predictive results. OTR has developed a comprehensive base of industry sources and a deep understanding of complex, global product supply chains and distribution channels.

OTR Global merged with BWG Strategy in early 2023 to become a single research platform servicing the institutional investment community with an expanded primary research spectrum of offerings. BWG Strategy runs a large executive network that provides industry insights and intelligence covering more than a dozen industries, including technology, media, consumer/retail, and Industrials through virtual and in-person Research Forums, Research Synopses, and Market Insight Surveys.

We aggregate, compare and contrast extensive marketplace data to prepare research reports and other research offerings for institutional investors. Sources are interviewed via telephone, typically on a quarterly basis, which subsequently provides the basis for our channel research reports. Our mission is to aggregate information from sources, compare it with expectations and look for dislocations or inflection points that provide investment opportunities for our clients .
