Sr Designer Footwear (Athletic) Overview:We are seeking an experienced designer for our

athletic footwear division , for a very well known brand. This individual will collaborate with internal team members, identify trends, design for the brand across all genders, and work with development teams overseas to see concepts through final samples.

Sr Designer Footwear (Athletic) Responsibilities:

• Shop the market for trends- inside and outside NY market• Research concepts, create sketches, prototypes and artwork• Travel to Asia to collaborate with key sourcing partners and execute samples• Produce CADS in Illustrator• Enter specs into PLM

Sr Designer Footwear (Athletic) Key Qualifications:

• Experience with designing in the athletic footwear industry

• Understanding of customer preferences on fashion and style trends

• Strong sketching skills, color sense, and fabric knowledge

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, PLM Microsoft Word and Excel
