JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Content Marketing Specialist is to produce content across various digital channels to connect with and build the Adaptec customer base. The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with the brand and business goals, drive engagement, attract new customers, and increase brand awareness. Additional responsibilities may include trade show support, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement content marketing campaigns on different platforms such as social media, blog, email, AdaptecTVMaintain content calendar to ensure timely publication and promotion of content, coordinating with sales, engineering, and marketing teamsCollaborate with Marketing Creative Coordinator to create engaging and high-quality content including articles, blog posts, infographics, videos, and potentially podcasts/webinars.Work closely with sales and engineering to research and develop content ideas that match the company's tone and values.Manage company social media channels and content.Use marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Account Engagement (Pardot)) to track and optimize lead generation and lead nurturing programs through email campaigns, content marketing, and social media.Track, report, and analyze content performance to make recommendations for further improvement in sales and marketing organizations.Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging content formats, and best practices to keep content strategy innovative and effective.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or another related field1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in business-to-business (B2B) companiesProficiency in social media management platforms (Oktopost, Sprout Social, etc.)Demonstrated success running and reporting on digital marketing programsREQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB:

Advanced communication, writing/grammar and presentation skillsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)Understand lead generation metrics, including click-through-rate (CTR), impressions, conversions, etc.Ability to manage multiple projects to produce resultsDESIRED/BONUS SKILLS RELEVENT TO THE JOB:

Certification in digital marketing and/or social mediaExperience in manufacturing and automation industryPhotography and/or videography experienceSalesforce/Account Engagement (Pardot) experienceKnowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques (PPC tools, SEMRush, Google Analytics)MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS:

Lead generation - number and quality of leadsSocial media metrics including engagement, awareness, channel growthWebsite engagement metricsSEO - keyword rankingCustomer lifetime value

Position is based out of our Rochester, NY office with occasional project based regional and national travel.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000. The salary range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
