This includes the development of big picture strategic directions for big brands, conceptual design research and exploration, critiquing and refining final execution, and ensuring design intent is maintained through the production phase. The Associate Design Director will engage with the Design Director on a strategic level; brainstorming, sketching, storytelling, mood boards, and verbalizing ideas and strategic directions prior to execution.What You’ll DoWork on big brands and embrace design challenges.Demonstrate a strong sense of problem-solving.Exhibit a high level of craftsmanship.Maintain a firm understanding of trend awareness.Inspire design in each project brief.Act as an ambassador for the design discipline.Collaborate effectively with others.What You’ll Need7+ years of related experience.Demonstrated strategic knowledge of design nomenclature and brand identity best practices, with experience developing branded ecosystems (brand manuals and style guides).Strong presentation skills, including the ability to sell, explain, and substantiate design thinking, direction, and solutions.Excellent technical skills in Adobe’s Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote).How We’ll Support YouOgilvy celebrates its people fully, enthusiastically, and unhesitatingly.
