Scope of Position

Our Director of Digital Media will drive our E-commerce brand's advertising efficiency and growth. This newly created role will develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies to increase brand awareness, drive e-commerce sales, and enhance customer engagement across all digital channels. This role will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy and targets. Own the entire funnel from awareness to conversion, leveraging a mix of paid search, social, display, CTV, lifecycle, and other digital channels to drive sustainable growth and optimize our ROAS, which leads to substantial growth.Oversee budget management and ROI optimization. Responsible for managing significant marketing budgets, ensuring that every dollar spent is optimized for maximum return. Make data-driven decisions to allocate resources effectively across channels.Drive data-driven insights and reporting. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and build robust reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of campaigns. Present insights and recommendations to the executive team and outside investors.Collaborate with executive leadership to shape company-wide growth strategy. Work closely with leaders to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives, ensuring our marketing strategy supports a growth trajectory, including digital support for alternate channels.Evaluate and implement to support the objective of optimizing our digital strategy.Innovate various third-party Tech Stacks capabilities to determine the best option to drive results. Continuously test and implement new growth tactics, staying ahead of industry trends and ensuring the approach remains cutting-edge and effective.Assemble, lead, and mentor a team of channel-specific digital marketing professionals (focused on search and social), providing guidance, support, and professional development.Partner with Content Marketing leadership to inform messaging and creative effectiveness. You'll collaborate with other leaders to ensure impactful content that resonates with our target audience.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.7+ years of experience in performance marketing in an e-comm environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a performance marketing team. A proven track record of driving significant growth in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a startup or hypergrowth company.Deep expertise in digital marketing channels. Hands-on experience with paid search, SEO, paid and organic social, programmatic advertising, lifecycle, and other performance channels, with a strong understanding of optimizing for various funnel stages.Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking. Data-driven and can translate complex data into actionable strategies-experience setting KPIs, building dashboards, and reporting on campaign performance to senior leadership.Proven ability to manage and optimize budgets. Skilled at balancing short-term results with long-term growth, ensuring that resources are used efficiently to drive maximum ROI.Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong communicator who can work effectively with operations, customer experience, and executive teams to drive company-wide objectives.Strong desire to contribute to the company's success in an entrepreneurial culture with an acute appreciation for a growth-orientated environment.
