Job SummaryThe Paid Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, content engagement, and upsell with emphasis on reporting and optimization of various digital media channels in multiple countries globally. This role will have greatest emphasis on management and optimization of paid social media campaigns across various platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram and YouTube. Additional paid channels may regularly be leveraged as well as essential tactics such as ABM Display, Retargeting display and paid search. Your expertise and analysis of outcomes will help to drive actionable insights and gradually improve campaign effectiveness to drive value for the business. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in paid social media management and experience in related fields of paid media, social media, media analytics, ad optimization, email automation or a combination of related fields related to paid media and social performance.Candidates will regularly collaborate cross-functionally with teams, including marketing, creative development, design work and analytics, to develop campaign objectives, target audiences, and build stronger advertising and messaging. Additionally, they stay updated with the latest industry trends and are able to adapt strategies based on continuous learning from data to achieve optimal results. Top candidates are creative, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and project management skills. Experience within agencies working with various clients or enterprise B2B companies with extended sales funnel scenarios is a must for the role.ResponsibilitiesApplied Paid Media Experience:

The candidate should possess a natural understanding of how to plan, build, and execute paid media campaigns to support performance media marketing strategies meant to drive customer acquisition, visitor engagement, and upselling down the sales funnel. Paid media basics of audience building, ad development, tracking, and trafficking processes should be well understood.

Communication and Collaboration:

Strong communication skills are essential for a Marketing Manager at Equinix. Candidates should be able to effectively discuss key tactics, campaign plans, and recommendations to stakeholders, content leaders, media team members, and leadership to align marketing strategies and ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Project Management:

Equinix employs a project management system and leverages tools and documentation regularly to define and prioritize projects and tasks to drive work forward and scale more effectively. Top candidates are self-starters with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with external media vendors and agencies, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of services against expected SLAs.

The candidate should have a natural curiosity for personal improvement and stay up-to-date with ad industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.

Other ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage digital marketing across various channels, with emphasis on paid social.

Build functional campaigns based on marketing team strategy and KPIs to drive customer acquisition and engagement.

Create compelling ad copy, visuals, and landing pages to maximize campaign performance.

Manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, bid management, and targeting.

Conduct testing of various promotional elements to refine audience targeting and messaging.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in paid social media advertising.

Manage effective relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Evangelize social media tactics and coach others on best practices.

QualificationsMinimum of a bachelor's degree is required.

At least 4 years direct experience in paid social media management and 6 years combined experience in related fields.
