Field Marketing & Sales Manager

This is a full-time role, reporting to the Director of Field Marketing & Sales:Highlights of this position’s responsibilities include:Responsible for all local grassroots outreach efforts and developing relationships and co-marketing opportunities with a variety of local organizations.Plans marketing events, such as tabling or exhibiting, to increase awareness of the properties and generate new resident leads.Partners with property managers and the corporate marketing team in creating calendars, fliers, posters, newsletters, print and social media ads, and other materials for the purpose of promoting upcoming events and building overall brand awareness.Monitors overall traffic goals for individual events and overall property performance and evaluates quality of traffic.Monitors leasing velocity and performance, creating strategic sales initiatives to hit leasing and occupancy goals.Manages Marketing and Leasing calls to ensure deliverables from on-site team.Evaluates vendor performance and updates vendor-managed campaigns to increase performance, obtains competitive vendor quotes, and manages marketing vendor relationships.Manages marketing budgets for each community and works with the Property Manager and Property Accountant accordingly.Manages and updates digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to: ILS sites, Google Business pages, social media, Chamber of Commerce platforms, local business pages.Assists in managing social media accounts for the properties and is responsible for meeting social growth goals.Works in conjunction with the marketing services team to design and develop advertising and marketing collateral for print and electronic media outlets in accordance with plan and budget.Responsible for reporting on marketing and leasing performance metrics.Attends and/or speaks at events to raise local awareness and generate a prospect pipeline for the leasing team.Maintains and executes on an ongoing 90-day marketing plan for properties that includes community outreach initiatives, digital, print, and other marketing activities.Reports on results of marketing activities and adjusts tactics as needed to drive marketing and leasing results internally and for clients.Monitors marketing collateral and supplies; orders supplies from the corporate marketing team as needed; stocks supplies upon receipt.Assists with overall leasing of vacant units.Job Overview + QualificationsJob Type + Compensation: Field Marketing & Sales Manager; $68,500 salary.Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in marketing, leasing experience a plus.Ability to travel up to 40% of the month to assigned portfolio.Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.High energy, proactive and a positive attitude!High-functioning administrative skills with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher).Professional image compatible with United Group.Demonstrates integrity on personal and professional level; ability to provide services while maintaining confidentiality in relation to resident concerns and service needs.Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds required; seniors preferred.Problem solver and multi-tasker.Ability and willingness to substitute for any position at the site.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k Match (4%), PTO.Medical – Highmark BlueShield of Northeastern NY with HSA option; eligibility 1st of the month following 60 days.Dental/Vision – Guardian; eligibility 1st of the month following 60 days.Life Insurance – Company paid Basic Life Insurance Policy (1x Annual Salary) with additional Voluntary Life Plans; eligibility 1st of the month following 60 days.Retirement Plan – Voya Financial; Eligibility After 1 Year of Service; 4% Company Match.Additional Benefits – Employee Assistance Program; United Concierge Medicine (telemedicine service, including Mental Health); Calm App Premium Subscription; Learning Care Group (childcare tuition discount); Tuition Assistance Program.PTO – Personal (24 Hours), Sick (56 Hours), and Vacation Time (80 Hours; escalated based on years of service up to 160 Hours); eligibility after 90-day Introductory Period.Holidays – 10 Company Paid Holidays.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
