The ideal candidate in this role will work hand in hand with the full marketing and design team, as well as product and engineering teams, to launch innovative social campaigns, scale our reach across platforms, and expand our audience globally. The role involves everything from creating original written content, planning daily, weekly and monthly social campaigns, and optimizing our content for various social channels and communities. They will be a seasoned social media expert, well-versed in the latest trends and analytics platforms within the Web3 landscape, and a proactive, independent thinker.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage key social media channels for Avalanche, including X, LinkedIn, Reddit and moreDrive the day-to-day publishing and management of the main Avalanche and AvaxDevelopers X accounts—this is an important role because it manages the brand's outward facing persona and has to maintain these accounts to be professional, comprehensive and up-to-dateThey will be a key contributor to how marketing efforts make their way on to social channels, where a large portion of our campaigns liveCreate brief, engaging content and copy across major social channelsDevelop strategies and messaging for ongoing platform and product marketing campaignsWork with the Creative team to create on-brand, visually appealing graphics and videos that complement social messagingWHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience4+ years experience in social media marketing, with crypto marketing experience preferredProven track record with managing social media pages for high-growth brandsExperience in social media marketing, channel management, content creation, copywriting and community engagementMust be familiar with crypto twitter and have experience creating twitter posts around specific crypto topicsTechnical background that understands general technical conceptsManage and run multiple social campaigns within broader co-marketing effortsExperience using Web3 applicationsStrong copywriting backgroundExperience as an active contributor to social communitiesAdvanced knowledge of social media publishing tools, project management tools, major social channels (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), social analyticsAdaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCreative thinker with the ability to bring personality and energy to social communitiesSalary Range:
