Full-time, Remote

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Field Marketing reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for leading and overseeing local and regional marketing initiatives for both company parks and supporting franchises. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth within specific local markets. The Director of Field Marketing brings a deep understanding of local marketing tactics, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful local marketing campaigns on the marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on local or field marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful local marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including project tracking and content management software
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support local market needs and attend events nationally
  • Ability to travel 75% for park visits


RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive local marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and support strategic and struggling markets
  • Identify key market opportunities and challenges, and create actionable plans to address them
  • Oversee the creation, execution and optimization of local marketing campaigns, including events, promotions, partnerships and community outreach programs
  • Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, on-budget, and effectively targeting local audiences
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand local consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of local marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all local marketing efforts are consistent with the company's brand identity and messaging.
  • Promote and protect the brand's reputation within local markets


Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor field marketing managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback in addition to the local marketing team at HQ
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and development
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and community organizations


Budget Management:
  • Manage the local marketing budget for O&O parks, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI
  • Monitor expenses and financial performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Position requires the ability to remain stationary at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move around and position self appropriately during park onsite assessments.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.


Compensation: $120-140k plus bonus based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match.
