The Creative Director leads the creative development of the brand expression for all branches of Sight & Sound Ministries. They oversee the team in designing and developing impactful content that tells the story of Sight & Sound and inspires our audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Guide the creative development process for all brand content and touch points, including video, digital, print, and physical environments, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy and story. Host brainstorms, provide direction and influence creative decisions for all external expressions of the brand, including marketing and advertising, product and company branding, custom retail products, and guest spaces.
  • Lead and mentor the creative team. Foster an environment of creativity and excellence by inspiring story exploration, providing constructive feedback and encouraging skill mastery and exceptional artistry.
  • Partner with the Director of Brand Development on developing the strategy for and visualizing the brand identity for new products (shows, films, brand extensions, etc.).
  • Lead the concept theme development for the brand experience in guest and employee spaces. Guide the Interior Designer in designing spaces that embody our culture and brand.
  • Develop and uphold brand guidelines and standards. Communicate and inspire support with internal teams, promoting consistent expression of the brand internally and externally.
  • Work collaboratively with other creative leaders and key stakeholders including the Show Producer(s) and Artistic Director to ensure cohesive creative output across disciplines and channels.
  • Oversee the prioritization of creative projects and evaluation of team capacity. Ensure all work is delivered within established 'sandboxes': on time, on budget, and on-brand. Direct the engagement of freelance professionals and agencies to support projects as needed.

Prerequisites:
  • Highly creative with demonstrated storytelling excellence across multiple platforms (video, digital, print, environments).
  • Proven experience in effectively leading Creative Teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for leading creative ideation and brainstorms.
  • Excellent communicator with a heart for storytelling and an eye for spectacular artistry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate messages through presentations and visuals.
