Role Description
Jefferies US Fixed Income Electronic Trading Technology Team is seeking a UI Developer who specializes in HTML5/JavaScript/React/Openfin technology. Individual should have Computer Science/Engineering college degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience implementing large scale web-based applications.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000-$225,000.
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications. Role Description
Jefferies US Fixed Income Electronic Trading Technology Team is seeking a UI Developer who specializes in HTML5/JavaScript/React/Openfin technology. Individual should have Computer Science/Engineering college degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience implementing large scale web-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an HTML5 Trading and Sales application that is used globally, with a focus on real-time delivery of large datasets.
- Take a business requirement and translate it into a functional objective, inline with existing architecture and taking into consideration how it could potentially be reused for other requests.
- Work within a CI environment and be comfortable with the full SDLC process.
- Collaborate with teams across business lines and regions
College Degree
- BS/MS Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Knowledge:
- JavaScript, React, TypeScript
- HTML, CSS, SCSS
- WebSocket Streaming with understanding of building real-time visual applications.
Big Plus:
- OpenFin
- AGGrid
- Knowledge of Distributed caching (AMPS, Hazelcast etc...)
- PUB/SUB architecture
- Zedux
Good to have one or more of the following:
- Creating a component-based architecture.
- Figma experience.
- Basic Fixed Income experience.
- Understanding of Functional programming and Reactive Design Patterns.
- Providing 2nd level support.
