The role
As our first marketer, you will report to our Head of Product and work closely with our CEO and Head of Growth on messaging and positioning, campaigns, landing pages, product launches, case studies, brand, events, SEO, social, and more. You will play a pivotal role as a generalist in a rapidly growing startup. You will partner with our founding team to develop and execute our marketing strategy and take ownership over growing our inbound pipeline. You have prior experience working within a sales-led GTM motion selling to CFOs and Heads of Finance.
We're looking for someone entrepreneurial, scrappy, and creative that is comfortable trying new things, failing quickly, and picking up new skills as needed. This role is ideal for someone that wants to be on the ground floor of a scaling startup, work directly with the founding team, and be responsible for driving many "firsts".

What You'll Do
You will be responsible for driving inbound pipeline growth. Below are some of the activities you may be involved in:
- Campaigns: Brainstorm, plan, design and execute creative campaigns across different channels to drive inbound.
- Messaging and positioning: Refine and iterate on our messaging, landing pages and other website content.
- Sales enablement: Collaborate with product and sales to effectively communicate product value
- SEO: Identify and execute on high impact SEO opportunities.
- Content: Our customers are experts in their fields. Maintain a steady stream of high-quality finance focused content in collaboration with Product and Sales to drive inbound demand and enable the sales team.
- GTM: Partner with Product and Design teams to develop GTM plans to support product launches and enhancements
- Email: Build campaigns to help customers and prospects understand new features and capabilities in Sequence.
- Creative: You are able to jump into Figma to create a banner or visual, record and edit a video or come up with a simple animation.
