The Marketing Automation Manager is a strategic role in the Marketing Solutions Group, driving client marketing automation and CRM go-to-market strategy, personalization/journey strategy, managing client project deliverables, overseeing team growth and success, and contributing as subject matter expert for team support as needed. This role serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for integrated marketing automation strategy and execution workstreams.

The Marketing Automation Manager is a strategic role in the Marketing Solutions Group, driving client marketing automation and CRM go-to-market strategy, personalization/journey strategy, managing client project deliverables, overseeing team growth and success, and contributing as subject matter expert for team support as needed. This role serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for integrated marketing automation strategy and execution workstreams.

Go-To-Market Strategy and Practice Excellence
- Support customer acquisition efforts, including Requests for Pricing, proposal, and statement of work creation, with supporting material development in collaboration with vertical sales/account teams.
- Support organizational recognition through analyst briefings and external messaging.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Marketing Automation platforms and programs through thought leadership articles, round table discussions, and cohosted series with platform partners.
- Inform team training plans and certification goals.
- Be passionate about marketing automation and keep up with the latest trends, tools, and innovation in the marketing automation ecosystem.
- Document business/program needs and translate to actionable marketing automation, personalization, and omnichannel program requirements.
- Understand and define business requirements and help to drive initiatives that translate into strategic marketing automation, omnichannel, and CRM roadmaps, governance and technical requirements.
- Identify and engage digital marketing subject matter experts to align processes for audience planning, personalization opportunity assessment, measurement strategy, tagging and tracking/analytics, marketing automation/CRM, and content development work.
- Expertise with programs within a variety of enterprise-scale marketing automation platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics to deliver compelling customer journeys.
- Cross-functional Collaboration with Marketing, Data, Engineering, Sales, and other teams to strategies align with overall business goals with clear KPIs alignment.
- Builds strong internal and external relationships and delivers exceptional client satisfaction.
- Maintain regular contact with clients, keeping in mind their level of maturity, capabilities, constraints, pain points, and provide timely and effective responses to all client questions.
- Supports client data governance, marketing technology assessments, program design, and organizational strategy.
- Serve as a senior Marketing Solutions subject-matter expert on enterprise-scale digital transformation and marketing maturity engagements. Support client data governance, marketing technology assessments, program design and modern marketing organizational strategy and planning.
- Manage ongoing client relationships with high-value consulting and business acumen to generate client satisfaction and trusted partner engagements.
- Cultivate team cohesion and support professional growth through team meetings and 1:1 conversation.
- Manage team goals and progression against OKRs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and implementation plans.
- Create knowledge base articles and training materials for internal teams and clients.
- Maintain a repository for best practices, reference materials, and lessons learned.

Qualifications / Requirements
- 6 years+ of experience in Marketing Automation
- Growth mindset and past team management experience
- Deep expertise in one or more enterprise marketing automation platforms (eg, Salesforce, Adobe)
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, data strategy, key measures of success, and program optimization
- Familiarity with current data privacy and opt-in regulations
- Continuous learning mindset, analytical thinker, and problem solver
- Ability to plan activities and manage to key dates and milestones
- Ability to build and cultivate long-term client and team relationships
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, with demonstrated ability to extract insights, explain, and build cases in support of strategies, budget allocation, and KPIs
- Expert proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Bachelor's degree required
