Description

Job Title: Community Manager with Tax Credit/Section 8 Experience

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager with Section 8 experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD and experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with EIV.

This position for a community manager is in Philadelphia that will be split between 3 properties, A & Indiana, Impact Veterans and Liberty 52.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the property

Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations and guidelines

Maintain accurate records and files related to Section 8 housing

Process and transmit vouchers through TRACS

Conduct annual and interim recertifications for residents

Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and vendors

Prepare and submit required reports to HUD

Ensure that the property is maintained in a safe and clean manner

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Community Manager with Section 8 experience

Strong understanding of project-based HAP Contracts with HUD

Experience transmitting vouchers through TRACS

Knowledge of EIV

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
