Child Life ServicesPer Diem80675BRJob SummaryThe Per Diem Music Therapist in a float role will deliver high-quality, evidence-based music therapy services across various pediatric inpatient units and potentially in outpatient settings, serving a diverse population ranging from newborns through young adults. We are seeking a candidate who can swiftly integrate into our music therapy team, assess new consults, and provide coverage for patients on other therapists' caseloads, including during vacations and extended sick leave.The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to quickly adapt to the distinct needs of various patient populations and collaborate effectively within the unique dynamics of each hospital unit. This role is vital in promoting resilience, supporting rehabilitation, fostering optimal states of well-being, and advancing child development. In addition to delivering care, you will be responsible for documenting music therapy interventions in patient charts and communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding clinical care planning and insights gained through music therapy sessions. Successful candidates will align with our team's commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and bring both the technical expertise and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.
