As Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for both leading the digital marketing team and executing hands-on tasks across various digital channels. This role requires a performance-driven individual who is not only a strategic thinker but also enjoys rolling up their sleeves to directly contribute to campaign execution. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor a team of specialists in content, social media, email marketing, and influencer marketing while actively engaging in day-to-day tasks such as campaign setup, content creation, and performance analysis. Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies:
Create, implement, and optimize digital marketing strategies that drive engagement, conversions, and donations across all digital channels.Actively participate in campaign execution, including setting up ads, drafting email sequences, and optimizing content for SEO.Use a hands-on approach to manage key aspects of digital marketing campaigns, such as Google Ads, social media ads, and content distribution.Work closely with team members to ensure seamless integration of digital campaigns, providing direct support in tasks like keyword research, A/B testing, and analytics tracking.Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to align digital strategies with broader organizational objectives, adjusting tactics as needed based on performance data.Hands-on Management of Digital Marketing Team:
Lead and mentor a team of specialists, including Content Specialist, Social Media Specialist, Email Marketing Specialist, and Influencers Specialist, while also being directly involved in daily operations.Provide direct guidance and support to team members in campaign setup, optimization, and reporting, ensuring high standards of execution across all channels.Engage in day-to-day content creation, from writing copy for digital ads and social media posts to assisting in the design of marketing materials.Actively participate in the production of email marketing campaigns, including template design, segmentation, and automation setup.Set clear performance expectations, monitor individual and team performance, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Use a hands-on approach to monitor digital marketing performance across all channels, identifying opportunities for optimization and directly implementing changes.Conduct A/B testing on various campaign elements, including email subject lines, ad creatives, and landing page designs, to improve conversion rates.Regularly update dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), sharing insights and actionable recommendations with stakeholders.Utilize data analytics tools to dive deep into campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance ROI and achieve marketing goals.Ensure budget adherence by closely monitoring spend across digital channels, making real-time adjustments to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns.Cross-functional Collaboration and Direct Contribution:
Collaborate closely with other departments, including fundraising, communications, and IT, to ensure digital marketing efforts are aligned with overall organizational goals.Provide hands-on support in the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for key events, appeals, and initiatives.Work directly with external partners, such as agencies and vendors, to enhance digital marketing capabilities, providing input and oversight to ensure all efforts align with performance goals.Engage with global teams to ensure consistency in digital marketing efforts, offering direct assistance in the execution of campaigns across different regions.Actively participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions, contributing creative ideas and insights for future digital marketing initiatives.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, directly applying new techniques to enhance campaign performance.Experiment with innovative approaches to digital marketing, testing new platforms, tools, and strategies to keep Human Appeal's digital presence fresh and engaging.Provide thought leadership on digital marketing, sharing insights and recommendations with the team and broader organization to drive continuous improvement.Implement new digital marketing processes and tools to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance overall campaign performance.Champion a culture of experimentation and learning within the digital marketing team, encouraging team members to take initiative and explore new ideas.WHAT YOU WILL NEED
EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:
Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Google Analytics, Digital Marketing) is preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, including hands-on experience with campaign execution and performance optimization, and at least 4 years in a managerial role.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools, and CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC:
Technical Skills:

Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal.
