Overview

The Digital Marketing Insights Analyst will be an integral part of the Marketing team, working closely with both internal marketing members and agency partners to generate valuable insights for our marketing campaigns. This role will analyze all marketing results related to events, emails, website, paid media, social media, public relations, etc., and create digestible insights in the form of reports and power points. This role will oversee the Marketing Power BI dashboards and work on search engine optimization (SEO) insights that can drive the push we need in SEO. This role is crucial in providing the data-driven insights needed to inform marketing strategies and solve business challenges.

Position Summary

As a key member of the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Insights Analyst will focus on analyzing all marketing results and providing data-driven solutions to our business challenges. The Analyst will work closely with the Marketing team to track, mine, and transform data from various sources, and report out the results via visualizations and dashboards for stakeholders. This position emphasizes optimizing digital campaigns and channels through advanced technologies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work across teams and deliver high-quality, accurate data analysis.

Dual Reporting Structure

The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications, with a dotted line to the Technology Function. This dual reporting structure ensures access to the necessary tools and resources to handle complex data analysis while aligning with both marketing strategies and technological advancements.

Responsibilities

Analyze marketing data and report performance insights to optimize digital marketing and communications strategies and campaign effectiveness.

Collaborate with internal marketing teams, consultants, and agency partners to define data needs and reporting requirements.

Provide insights and recommendations from marketing data to improve engagement, registrations, and donations.

Produce reports based on the needs and strategic priorities of Marketing and other departments.

Improve and maintain existing reports and dashboards.

Manage website, social media, and other channel metrics using tools like GA4, Dynamics, and Sprout Social. Extract and transform data for performance analysis.

Create and maintain custom tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager.

Deliver SEO insights and collaborate with the content team to improve website performance.

Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.

Analyze both internal and external data to optimize marketing efforts, donor outreach, and website analytics.

Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data science, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in marketing analysis or business intelligence.

Passion for analytics and digital technology.

Experience in similar marketing analytics roles on cross-functional teams.

Understanding of marketing, social media, and website data.

Experience with Google Analytics and CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Experience with Google Tag Manger preferred.

Strong pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred).

Proficient in developing, maintaining, and analyzing structured and unstructured data.

Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
