Responsibilities:
Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Provide musical directorship for the Chapel Service(s) at Robins Air Base Chapel.Provide musical directorship for a minimum of one (1) rehearsal and one (1) worship service each week for the Protestant and Catholic worship services.Lead the praise team/choir and congregation in worship and vocally lead them as required by the Chaplain/Catholic Priest.Possess sound accompaniment skills; competent sight-reading ability is preferred, and be able to perform music from various worship genres.Coordinate all support requirements with the Chaplain/Catholic Priest or their designated representative.EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:Have five (5) or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience (e.g., playing the piano and/or organ in public performance setting) in a chapel/church setting.Be able to sing and vocally lead congregation in worship.Be able to plan, organize, and lead a choir/praise team.Be able to sight read, arrange, improve, play, and score music.Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, lay leaders, other musicians, parishioners, Chapel Staff, and base personnel.
