Responsibilities:
If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.Provide musical directorship for the Chapel Service(s) at Robins Air Base Chapel.Provide musical directorship for a minimum of one (1) rehearsal and one (1) worship service each week for the Protestant and Catholic worship services.Lead the praise team/choir and congregation in worship and vocally lead them as required by the Chaplain/Catholic Priest.Possess sound accompaniment skills, with competent sight-reading ability preferred, and be able to perform music from various worship genres.Coordinate all support requirements with the Chaplain/Catholic Priest or their designated representative.EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:Have five (5) or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience (e.g. playing the piano and/or organ in a public performance setting) in a chapel/church setting.Be able to sing and vocally lead the congregation in worship.Be able to plan, organize, and lead a choir/praise team.Be able to sight-read, arrange, improve, play, and score music.Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, lay leaders, other musicians, parishioners, Chapel Staff, and base personnel.
