This position will be responsible to support the team for creating visually engaging and aesthetically compelling designs for a variety of avenues within our brand.The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the graphic design industry, experience in the sporting goods industry or other brands related to consumer product and marketing.The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Sr. Director, Creative.#FranklinFamilyIn More Detail, You WillProduce packaging artwork and product graphics while implementing designs across all divisions. The Graphic Designer will have a key support role in building the on-shelf presence of Franklin products at retail and onlineDevelop packaging line looks and style guides for all product categoriesCreate logos for sub-brands and new productsBuild licensed packaging and product artwork from pre-designed team style guidesDesign and layout for seasonal sales catalogsWeb design: HTML, CSS, JS and email marketing templates as well as social media contentPerform all production work from initial file layout to packaging and sending to printProvide direct support for team members as needed and back-up support to other artistsPhoto and image manipulation, retouching, color correction, and clipping as neededOther duties as assigned.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field required2-3 years of graphic design industry experienceProficient understanding of Adobe Creative SuiteExposure to the sporting goods industry or consumer packaged goods preferredPortfolio of dynamic creative workSkills in motion graphics, video, or digital media, social, HTML, CSS, JS a plusWhat You Have Done/Essential To The RoleCreative personalityGood understanding of graphic design and experience building files for both print and digitalDemonstrated hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative SuitePossess dynamic portfolio of work within a variety of industries and disciplinesAbility to manage multiple projects, remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping keen attention to detailTeam approachMust be able to adhere to a high standard of quality while meeting deadlines and remaining highly organizedExcellent communication skills with all levels of company personnelUnderstanding of print production and the printing processAdvanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Level Of ResponsibilityInteract independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not supervise employees.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
