As a member of the CALTech UX team, you will design digital products that provide exceptional experiences for Walmart associates. The digital tools we create enhance user capabilities, improve efficiency, and assist our colleagues in making data-informed decisions for their teams and the business.If you enjoy solving complex problems, operate with intention, deliver for the user, know how to build trust and strong relationships, and advocate for the success of the entire team, then our Staff UX Designer position could be the ideal fit for you. The ideal candidate is an experienced UX/UI Designer who can plan UX deliverables, communicate design recommendations, execute design ideas, lead discussions, and manage stakeholder relationships. They should also be able to demonstrate how their designs positively impact business KPIs (key performance indicators).About Team:

Our UX team supports Walmart's Corporate Affairs and Leverage Tech team within Enterprise Business Services. We build enterprise tools that digitally transform the user experience for Walmart associates in Global Communications and Global Responsibility.What you'll do:

Be responsible for the quality, consistency, and accuracy of a project. Communicate the impact of design decisions in business-friendly language, including quantitative metrics or business KPIs.Influence cross-functional partners in Product, Business, and Engineering; advocating for the value of UX to non-designers.Lead UX discovery, present discovery insights to stakeholders, validate use cases, and map business processes.Leverage discovery insights to scope and plan project deliverables for yourself and other designers in your project team, setting clear objectives and priorities.Translate use cases into wireframes and prototypes in Figma, applying Walmart's design system to create accessible, usable, global products.Communicate the rationale for design decisions to project stakeholders, and lead the hand-off documentation process for engineers.What you'll bring:
