We seek an experienced, innovative, and driven Group Marketing Manager Upstream forTranscatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) & Cardiac Surgery products. This pivotal role focuses on initiating the development of cutting-edge cardiovascular devices from the conceptual stages towards market readiness. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cardiovascular medical devices, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a cross-functional organization and a competitive environment. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our product line and requires a strong focus on understanding customer needs, product development, and strategic planning.Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.What You'll Work OnThe Group Marketing Manager for Upstream TAVI and Cardiac Surgery will focus on R&D, innovation, and new product/program initiation.Team leadership: Lead, manage and mentor the upstream marketing team for TAVI and Cardiac Surgery, focusing predominantly on TAVI while creating an environment of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.Innovation and product development: Spearhead the ideation, design, and development of new products from initial concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, field teams, and key opinion leaders.Strategic planning: Develop a comprehensive marketing and portfolio plan that effectively introduces new products to the market, emphasizing their uniqueness and value proposition.Product development strategy: Collaborate with the R&D team and cross-functional teams to define and develop new, cutting-edge products. Take charge of creating product requirements and ensure that they align with customer needs and company objectives. Translate market research and customer insights into actionable product specifications for a robust development process. Additionally, serve as the commercial and marketing core team representative on the new product development core team.Lead market research and competitive analysis: Perform comprehensive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the cardiovascular market. Gain insights into customer demands, market dynamics, and competition to inform product development and differentiation strategies. Continuously monitor business performance and market trends to refine tactics and product offerings. Define and track key performance indicators for new product initiatives to ensure they align with business objectives and are adopted by the market.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the new product development, clinical engineering, clinical science, medical affairs, regulatory, sales, and marketing teams to align product development goals and strategies. Collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams to define the pathways for product approval and clinical trial design that align with marketing strategies. Act as a liaison to ensure smooth transitions from upstream activities to downstream marketing and sales efforts.Product Lifecycle Management: Help manage the entire product lifecycle, including market introduction, geographic expansion, and eventual product discontinuation, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in marketing or product management, with a strong preference for experience in the medical devices sector, particularly cardiovascular devices.Proven track record of managing product development from conception through commercialization.Strong analytical skills and experience with market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:An MBA is highly preferred.Direct experience with TAVI products, Cardiac Surgery or other cardiovascular technologies.* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
