This role will focus on product marketing for our Surgical Valve portfolio of products and a new therapy launch for a transcatheter mitral valve replacement.What You’ll Work OnThis position will work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy development plus Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and Training, Pricing, and Materials Management. In addition, this position will work closely with a cross functional team to launch and develop a new platform transcatheter mitral replacement product.The Group Marketing Manager shall maintain US product expertise for surgical valves, products / franchises, including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning.The Group Marketing Manager shall provide on-going field support and will focus on gaining share within a very competitive surgical valve marketing. This position will also focus on positioning a new therapy within our portfolio and ensure we have the appropriate launch strategy, planning and execution plan to ensure the success of the launch.Success will be measured against sales and margin expectations, launch KPIs, product competency / knowledge level and market image.Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain US market expertise for surgical valves, and a focus on the transcatheter mitral valve replacement market, and relative Structural Heart technologies, including in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.Develop and create best in market product messaging and collaborate with global marketing and field team to market test messaging feasibility.Develop strategies to address product performance issues.Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessment.Create and develop US specific strategies for new launches, focusing on the transcatheter mitral valve replacement market.Drive US launch readiness by developing product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with communications manager to develop promotional collateral.Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.Develop plan & update US forecasts and justification for respective product lines worldwide and present to BU senior management.Work with clinical team to develop and drive strategic publication initiatives within the US.Accountability

The Group Marketing Manager will report to the Head of US Marketing Structural Heart and will have primary marketing and budget responsibility for designated products.In this core Marketing role, the Group Manager will drive and be held accountable to deliver Sales, Margin, and PEx goals for designated products.The Group Manager will be expected to be responsive and able to directly address questions and requests of senior management including the SH US Commercial Divisional Vice President.Required QualificationsBachelors Degree with at least 6-8 years medical device marketing experience, with at least one medical device product launch. MBA strongly preferred.Preferred QualificationsBachelor Degree with a strong preference for an MBA.Job requires substantial financial skills, market analysis and advanced communication skills.Looking for a self-starter, proactive by nature, interested in breaking the status quo, and innately curious.Strong story telling skills to captivate and influence audiences.Knowledge/ability to develop and execute a "new" therapy / product launch.Requires strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills.Must be able to understand technical and scientific information. The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
