The applicant shall perform for all regularly scheduled worship services, praise team rehearsals, and additional services as requested.

Support and assist the Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee in selecting appropriate music and audio/visual requirements.

Work closely with the pastoral team in determining worship style and song selection.

The applicant shall create song slides for worship service. Song slides are to be turned into the Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee weekly at a predetermined time.

The applicant shall conduct and lead weekly praise team rehearsals.

The applicant shall continually upgrade and maintain the music library and songs used in the worship service.

The applicant shall ensure that all facilities and musical equipment are properly secured after use.

The applicant must maintain model decorum with special attention to dress and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for religious services and programs.

Qualifications:

Must believe and adhere to the basic tenets of the Protestant Christian faith.

Ability to play a musical instrument and lead worship simultaneously.

The applicant should have a basic understanding of military protocol and possess the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.

Education/Experience:

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a church and/or chapel program directing and leading contemporary or blended worship.
