Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Position OverviewWe are looking for an Assistant Manager of Visual Merchandising to join our team at Club Monaco Greenwich Ave. In this role, the Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager with the overall daily management, sales, training, and operations of the store. The Assistant Manager- Visual Merchandising holds the Product Division of Responsibility and plans and executes store product flips. They collaborate with the Store Manager to drive business through product and people. This is a Full-Time role and requires open and weekend availability.Job type: Full TimeReports to: Store ManagerPartners with District Visual Manager & District ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver and impact business results by motivating staff and aligning daily activities to achieve business goals.Monitor sales floor and zone coverage to drive sales and maintain customer focus.Model and ensure dress code compliance.Monitor service associate breaks and shift changes.Communicate top and bottom sellers to Store Manager.Conduct hourly sales reads and coach staff on exceeding sales targets.Achieve personal sales targets while protecting the customer experience in all business areas.Ensure proper training on product knowledge for staff.Lead by example in client capture results.Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including daily monitoring and execution of sales and payroll goals.Uphold and model established best practices.Actively support securing company assets through effective Loss Prevention in compliance with company policies and procedures.Own the Visual/Product DOR, including execution of floor-sets and product merchandising standards including markdown execution.Monitor product sell-through and partner with Store Manager to impact sales by making product placement adjustments on a weekly basis.Experience, Skills, and KnowledgeA minimum of 1 year of retail management experience.Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment.Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.Goal-oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results.Must be able to work shifts standing and walking and able to lift approximately 20 lbs, and to pack, unpack and move stock.Experience in Visual Merchandising is preferred for this role.
