Assistant Store Manager
focused on
Visuals & Merchandising
to help us continue our journey of elevating the 5 to 9. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in launching and managing Cozy Earth's first brick-and-mortar storefront in California. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining an inviting and visually stunning store environment that reflects the Cozy Earth brand and drives customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising: Lead the creation and execution of visually appealing displays that showcase Cozy Earth's products in a way that aligns with the brand's luxury image and enhances the overall customer experience.Store Presentation:
Ensure the store is consistently well-organized, clean, and visually engaging. Regularly update displays and product placements to reflect seasonal trends, promotions, and new arrivals.Brand Representation : Act as a brand ambassador by ensuring that all visual elements within the store align with Cozy Earth's aesthetic and values. Collaborate with headquarters in Utah to ensure consistency with company-wide visual standards.Team Training:
Train and guide store associates on visual merchandising principles and techniques. Ensure that all team members understand the importance of maintaining visual standards and the impact on customer experience.Customer Experience:
Create an inviting and immersive in-store experience through thoughtful visual merchandising that encourages customers to explore, engage, and purchase. Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions.Inventory Coordination:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure that visual displays are well-stocked and that inventory is properly managed to support visual merchandising efforts.Performance Analysis:
Monitor the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies by analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and store traffic patterns. Adjust displays and merchandising strategies as needed to maximize sales.Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in visual merchandising or a related role within a luxury or premium retail environment.Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for detail.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and inspire others.Knowledge of current fashion, design, and retail trends.Familiarity with visual merchandising tools and software is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively with the Store Manager, operations team, and other stakeholders.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
This role offers a combination of base salary and commission, with a base pay range of $24 - $28 per hour. Actual base pay offered may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Commissions are earned based on monthly store performance and sales targets.
