Senior PCB Designer

Job Description:

Candidate will interface with multiple engineering groups and provide senior-level design and layout support for Multi-layer RF printed circuit boards using Altium Designer. Responsibilities will include schematic entry, design rule checking, and post processing of design data. This will include verification of manufacturing data and development of all manufacturing documentation, including, fabrication and assembly drawings. Some library maintenance may be required, as well as other departmental support duties such as data management and peer reviews.

Candidate must be highly proficient in schematic driven PCB design principles for RF PCB layout. Candidate should have recent experience in layout of RF/Microwave PCBs and a solid understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly, and RF layout and design practices. Knowledge of signal integrity design constraints encompassing differential pairs, matched lengths and impedance control. Familiarity with Agile data management system would be helpful. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects as well as delegate tasks to others.
Coordination of and participation in team meetings for PCB reviews.

Job Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in RF PCB design and layout.
  • Proven experience with layout and design for RF circuit boards.
  • Solid Altium designer skills.
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • As a Senior PCB Designer, you'll be responsible for all phases of the creation and management of the printed circuit design front-to-back process
  • Good communication skills to work with both internal and external engineering teams.
  • Skills in High-Density Interconnect (HDI) high speed PCB designs.
