As a small team, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join us in driving our marketing efforts forward.Position Overview:As a Marketing Coordinator at Roda, you will play a pivotal role in executing our marketing strategies across various channels. You will work closely with the marketing team to spearhead community initiatives, be a brand ambassador at events, create engaging content, manage our social media presence, assist with email campaigns, and generally roll up your sleeves and make grassroots marketing efforts happen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company while honing your marketing skills in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Community Marketing Engagement / Grassroots Local Marketing:Work with the marketing team to identify and execute opportunities for community engagement and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and loyalty.Plan and coordinate community events, or other initiatives to foster relationships with potential customers.Act as a liaison between the company and community organizations or influencers.Identify and execute opportunities for community outreach including canvassing, guerilla campaigns and event presence.Social Media Management:Manage and maintain active presence on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn).Create engaging social media content, including static and video content for posts, stories, and campaigns.Research and engage with influencers to create demand for Roda’s services.Monitor social media and review channels for mentions, comments, and trends, and respond accordingly.Content Creation:Generate high-quality written and visual content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, website content, landing pages, social media posts, and videos.Update/publish web content as necessary to change messaging, imagery, or promotions.Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and marketing objectives.Collaborate with internal teams to gather content ideas and insights.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience (2-4 years) in marketing, preferably in a start-up or small business environment.Understanding of email marketing best practices and platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and storytelling.Familiarity with video editing tools like Capcut and visual content tools like Canva, or willingness to learn.Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt.Availability to work outside of traditional hours when necessary to support local events and activations.Reliable transportation.Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic start-up environment and make a significant impact.Competitive salary and benefits package, including 401k match.Growth and development opportunities through ongoing training and mentorship.Flexible work schedule and remote work options.Collaborative and inclusive company culture.If you're passionate about marketing, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a start-up, we'd love to hear from you!
