Continental Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a passionate leader to direct our admissions and marketing efforts. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the functions associated with communications with the community and internal admissions procedures.
Responsibilities:
Answer referrals in a timely manner.
Work with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility.
Market the facility to referral sources to gain new business.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners, and other referral sources.
Recruit and credential new physicians to the facility.
Ensure the facility has all required paperwork for admission.
Verify payer sources and ensure referral is clinically approved prior to admission.
Meet with members of community organizations.
Promote good public relations within the community.
Qualifications:We are looking for a leader with previous experience in Long Term Care, preferably in admissions and/or marketing. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Some travel is required.
