POSITION HIGHLIGHTSSupervise the Medical Airlift Communications SpecialistsCoordination of daily operations for the Airlift Communications CenterOpportunity to help expand care to underserved communities.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCoordination of daily operations for the Communications CenterAudit and review Flight activations and Flight followingOversee quality of Medical Airlift Communications Specialist’s communications and completion of documentation for flightsWill play a key role in the interview and selection process for the hiring of Medical Airlift Communications SpecialistsThis position will be responsible for training, scheduling and performance evaluations for the Medical Airlift Communications SpecialistsAs a working Supervisor this role will work to cover shifts for Medical Airlift Communications Specialist’s absences and leaves as need arises, including the possibility of varying shifts and weekend hoursBudget oversight and responsibilityProcess development and improvementConsistent monitoring of staff training and knowledge of staff’s regulatory knowledge and competency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, or related fieldTwo years of experience in management or supervision in a health care settingAn equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements

ABOUT AIRLIFT NORTHWESTAirlift Northwest is dedicated to providing safe, efficient and compassionate air medical transport for critically ill and injured infants, children and adults, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The region’s first air medical transport service, Airlift Northwest has flown more than 100,000 patients since its founding in 1982. Its helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft are strategically located at eight bases throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southeast Alaska. On-board medical experts handle everything from advanced cardiac life support to neonatal resuscitation, all while flying patients to the best available care for their condition.
